Nicholas E. Tisdale, MD is a double board-certified Internal Medicine physician (ABIM & AOBIM) who is passionate about helping patients live healthier, longer, and more independent lives through exceptional primary care, preventative medicine, and high-quality chronic disease management.
Dr. Tisdale believes the best healthcare is built on time, trust, and relationships. He takes pride in providing personalized, unrushed care—listening carefully, answering questions thoroughly, and making sure every patient feels supported and understood. His goal is simple: to ensure each patient receives the attention and treatment they need to stay healthy and happy.
With a strong focus on preventative medicine, Dr. Tisdale emphasizes early detection, lifestyle optimization, and proactive planning to reduce hospitalizations and prevent complications before they occur. He specializes in helping patients manage conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, weight concerns, and other chronic illnesses, using an approach that is both evidence-based and practical for real life.
Dr. Tisdale believes great care shouldn’t stop when you leave the office. He is committed to giving patients the kind of care he would want for his own family—thorough, attentive, and never rushed. That’s why he offers concierge-like support through insurance, using Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) to keep patients closely connected to their care team between visits. With regular check-ins, medication support, and early attention to new symptoms, Dr. Tisdale and his team can respond quickly when health needs change—helping patients feel safe, supported, and confident, while staying healthier at home and avoiding complications.
Dr. Tisdale completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Authority Health / Detroit Medical Center, affiliated with Michigan State and Wayne State Schools of Medicine, where he also earned a Population Health & Health Equity Certificate through the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He is known for his patient-first approach, commitment to quality care, and dedication to helping individuals achieve meaningful improvements in both health and quality of life.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Tisdale enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing golf, and exploring the world of cars.
